I've spent most of my career somewhere between marketing, creative work, and operations. I started by doing the work myself, designing things, running campaigns, building websites, editing videos. Eventually, I became more interested in what happened behind the work.

Why does one team move quickly while another gets stuck? Why do good ideas fall apart during execution? Where does a process break when a company starts growing? That's the kind of work I enjoy now.

I build the systems around the work: how teams collaborate, how tasks move from idea to delivery, how clients are handled, how performance is measured, and how growth gets turned into something the team can actually execute.

Arafat is a beast to work with. He’s always quick to respond, takes ownership of problems, and is excellent at figuring things out when something gets complicated. You can throw a problem at him and trust that he’ll find a way to solve it.

I was genuinely surprised by how creative and incredibly talented Arafat is when it comes to marketing. He has a great ability to look at a marketing problem from a different angle and come up with creative ways to approach it.

Arafat is one of those people who just gets things done. He’s creative, easy to work with, and when there’s a problem, he doesn’t sit around waiting for someone else to figure it out. He just finds a way forward.

A few things
worth knowing.

A few things
worth knowing.

01

What do you actually do?

I work across operations and growth.

On the operations side, I build the systems that help teams work better: workflows, delivery processes, team structures, performance tracking, and the processes that keep things moving.

On the growth side, I work on how businesses attract and convert customers: acquisition systems, outbound, digital marketing, client onboarding, retention, and the processes behind them.

The common thread is pretty simple: I like figuring out how a business can work better and grow more consistently.

02

How do operations and growth fit together in your work?

I don't really see them as separate things.

You can generate more leads, but if your team can't handle them, growth creates problems. You can build a great delivery system, but if there's no reliable way to bring in business, you're just running an efficient operation.

I've worked on both sides, so I tend to look at the whole picture: how do we get the opportunity, and how do we make sure the business can actually deliver on it?

03

What kind of growth work do you do?

I've worked across digital marketing, paid acquisition, outbound, social media, client acquisition, conversion, and retention.

I've also built outbound systems across LinkedIn, cold email, and direct outreach, then handed those systems over to teams to run.

I'm less interested in chasing a single growth tactic and more interested in building something repeatable. A campaign can bring results once. A good growth system should give the team a way to keep doing it.

04

What kind of problems do you usually solve?

Usually, problems that sit somewhere between growth and execution.

Leads aren't converting consistently. A sales process has too many gaps. The team is growing but communication isn't keeping up. Work gets stuck between departments. Clients aren't being handled consistently. A marketing process works, but nobody has built a system around it.

I like getting into those messy middle areas, finding what's actually causing the problem, and building a better way to handle it.

05

What tools do you use?

I use a mix of tools across operations, growth, marketing, automation, analytics, and AI.

That includes ClickUp, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, GA4, WordPress, Framer, ChatGPT, Claude and other tools depending on the problem.

I'm not particularly attached to any one platform. I care more about what the system needs to accomplish, then choose the tools around that.
